At Belgian Gardens, students develop 21st century learning skills of Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication through the use of technology in the form of computers, iPads and robotics.  Students interact with technology in many forms across the curriculum.  Younger students engage with Bee Bots which are coded with simple commands.  As student's progress through the school they engage with LEGO robotics.  Students enhance their understanding and knowledge by building and programming robots.  They start by building and programming simple machines and as they develop their skills they move onto more complext robotic designs and programming.  Students also explore and create with Block Coding in "Scratch".  Designing and creating are a major focus of the Technologies Curriculum and students may interact with components such as Micro:Bits, MakeyMakeys and Drones.
