Tuckshop

The Tuckshop is a service organsied by the 'Parents and Citizens' Association for the students, families and staff at our school.

We aim to provide nutritional lunches, snacks and drinks at affordable prices in a friendly and happy atmosphere. The BGSS Tuckshop is committed to Education Queensland's Smart Choices – the healthy food and drink strategy for Queensland schools.

Open Times

Our hours of operation are Monday - Wednesday from 8.00am - 12.30pm, and Thursday - Friday 8.00am - 2.30pm.

The lunch hours are 'First Break' 10.50am - 11.30am, and 'Second Break' 1.30pm - 2.10pm.

Tuckshop Ordering Procedures

Online

The best way to order your child's lunch is online at QKR  (https://qkr-store.qkrschool.com/store/#/home) or download the QKR app, this saves you time (preferred option). Simply logon and register today. CUT OFF TIME is 8.45am.

All orders must be received before 8.45am; if not, student an emergency (basic) lunch. Can be ordered on the App

Volunteers

Our tuckshop is always looking for volunteers; it is vital in order to keep the operating costs down.

So if you have some time free; and hour in the morning, one day a week, once a month; any assistance is always greatly appreciated. You don't need experience, we are happy to show you the ropes! Tuckshop is also a great way to meet new people and learn new skills.

You may be unable to help out on site but love baking and can assist with the baking roster; this allows you to bake approved recipes at home!​
