Science club

Science club is held once a term after school and students from years prep to year 6 have the opportunity to nominate to attend one of three afternoon sessions held each term. The children are involved in a range of hands-on activities that nurture their curiosity around different science topics. Some of these have included; the five senses; chemistry and renewable energy sources and forces.  Parent volunteers have ann opportunity to explore the diferent topics the the students.

We are very proud of our programs and our goal is to develop students that are active and informed citizens.

Robotics Club

Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 can join our Robotics Club to learn to build and program LEGO EV3 Robots.  A main focus in our Robotics Clus is to work in teams to build and program EV3 Robots.  At the end of each year we take a tem to participate in the "First LEGO League" competition where we compete against other local schools to program our robots to perform set tasks.

Coding Club is held once a week after school for students in Years 3-6.  Students learn how to code using "Scratch", a drag and drop program.  It is a simple form of programming that allows students to creat simple or complex programs.  It helps students develop their knowledge and understanding of coding so they can progress to text based coding.

Lego Club

LEGO Club is held at lunchtimes for junior school students to engage in our Junior LEGO Club.  This club meets once a week, the emphasis is on fun, creativity and collaboration.  Sutdents also engage in building and programming LEGO WeDo.2 Robots.
